Ever have a wall that is damaged? It just might be easier to cover it vs. repairing! That was the case here.
Before
The room you see was an addition and prior to it, the half wall was a breakfast bar that had tile and a counter overhang. When the addition was put on, the counter was removed but the tile remained.
When the tile was removed, it damaged the wall so the solution was to add shiplap!
After
This made a fresh accent wall and did not require any actual wall repair, it was installed right over top.
