My Barn + Loft // Autumn Edition event wrapped up this last weekend so I used my Sunday to do a little redecorating in the house with some remaining product. It felt good to get the summer decor out and refresh everything!
I kept all of the “base” items as is and simply added in pumpkins, fall signs, and foliage. This is an easy way to transition seasons without starting completely over.

Kitchen
Like I mentioned, I keep all of my base items the same for the most part throughout the seasons. The boxes and trays on my counter stay the same, and the tiered tray from Junk 180 on the island is the go-to for fresh produce.
Dining Room
So I’ll admit we don’t eat at our dining table often, however, we do sit down for family meals together every night it’s just usually at the kitchen island. But, that means that I can leave it cutely decorated without disturbance!
This setting is similar to what I showcased in the Barn and since I loved it so much I brought it in the house.
Living Room
Seasonally I swap out few things in here. The grain elevator bins behind the TV get a pop, plus the birdcage, the trunk surface, and the cardex cabinet.
Lounge Porch
This is MY room, aside from my messy office, but my heart and soul is in here! I get grief from my boys because it used to be their toy room and I kicked them out of it…but they never kept it clean, are growing out of their toys, and have plenty of room in their bedrooms to store what they have.
The space has gotten a major update since we moved in. I bead boarded the ceiling in [ all.by.myself. ] after a portion of the plaster fell down so it was definitely a labor of love, painted, and have added my favorite colors.
I’ve started to enjoy sitting in here more and more and use it to do my daily journaling and drink my morning coffee.
Upstairs Landing
On our second floor there’s a large open area where I have a sofa table from the DIY Project Junkie. Besides the buffet in the dining room, this really is the only place I have room for another table to decorate. Again, I’ve kept everything the same but added burlap sunflowers to the vases and two cute pumpkins from Melissa Anne Company.

Half Bath
We have a teeny tiny water closet upstairs that I’ve had to get creative with by decorating with functionality.
The open shelving allows for toilet paper storage in a basket plus cute decor. I’ve added a vintage pie save as a sort of vanity to hold cleaning supplies and the plunger.
I like using containers as practical decorating.
