.| BEFORE + AFTER | 500 Main Street – Part 4.
Welcome to an upgraded dining & living room experience at the Stewart Flip Home.
Through a pocket door, [I love the character of old homes] it brings you into the dining room and then the large living room. Both of these spaces had carpet. So the first thing I did was I peeled a corner up and… I could confirm hardwoods – which spanned the hallway and bedrooms.
RECAP
What we did…
◾ Simple painting, but when I say simple I mean; spraying the ceilings, painting the walls, caulking every seem in the millwork and then priming and painting
◾ Steam cleaned the stone on the fireplace
The next delay came with the floors, our initial scheduled window with a local contractor was not met. There were permitting delays and we had things we needed to finish before he arrived. So, it got pushed out several weeks and then it took about a week longer than expected for the job to be completed. This step of the remodel came pretty much last because we did not want to damage anything [you'll see what I mean when I take you upstairs]. We left them natural and they turned out beautiful!
