Description
We use poplar as an alternative to pine when building various projects. The 1×6 size is typically used when building fireplace mantles or floating shelves.
Our poplar board is a solid board kiln dried. All boards are S4S and double end trimmed. It is very versatile hardwood that accepts paint or stain equally well and does not allow bleed through like pine.
